so i expect mixtape in November, 1st single in January, album Febuary...that would make the most since
I wouldnt mind this because maybe atlantic is planning to do this so he has a better chance of getting a grammy and putting him more out there thereafter. If they release it now, the hype would slowly die by the time the grammys get around. And maybe they are are waiting for a time where he can take the #1 billboard charts to get him more hype out there.
This guy needs to hurry up and drop lasers already.

Personally, I don't care if LASERS drops in a months time or 3 months time. As long as we're blessed with consistent material from Lupe leading up to the album release - whether it's mixtapes or freestyles every few weeks... so be it!
some1 should tell Lupe, that Lasers would be awesome christmas present for fans :D btw is Lu celebrating christmas?

I agree with Geefiasco. While yes, Lasers can be one of the greatest albums, we really don't care!. What we want is not an album, is Lupe's consistency in the game. Truthfully, I couldn't care less if he releases Lasers in 2 years, as long as he keeps it up; releasing some songs every few weeks, mixtapes every few months, do some featuring here and there, and maybe even some shows. That will just keep him and his fanbase alive, while getting more exposure. I've said it before:

Listen think of it this way... Fahrenheit part VI should mainly keep the fans satisfied until Lasers drops... so be happy the tape is dropping...

Just can't wait for the album, regardless of when it comes out it's gonna be epic. The mixtape will hopefully keep me satisfied until that day, but with what I am expecting from Lasers, I'm not sure if anything can satisfy that hunger.
The mixtape will tide me over I'm sure. I know it's going to be dope the odd part is I don't know what to expect accept some music i'mma like his content is so stretched across the spectrum I don't know what I'm going to get. To tie in with lasers next level shit leaves me pondering what's in store for lupe fans. mixtape different subject matter F&l way different from the cool and lasers on is merging onto another plane next level I'm just scratching my head waiting till the 25th to have some music turn the screws.
I dont Trust DJ Busy...he hypes up every Atlantic album that drops..
from Trey Songz to Flo Rida to whoever the hell else is on there..
can't wait for it to drop in 2011!

Lupe wouldn't be nominated for a grammy even if it came out today, he already missed the cut off for nominations for the next grammys
