The Hot 93.7 Morning Crew talked to Lupe and Guy at the Grammys and for the first time Lupe talked about being escorted off stage at a private pre-inauguration event last month.
“You have to have kind of thick skin to be in this business anyway,” explained Lupe who noted that online community is known to twist the facts. “It can be things that are completely one hundred percent untrue, but because of the blogs it gets picked up… and [they] run with it.

Hopsin is irrelevant. Lupe is indulging the same as other rappers in the end of the day except he has slight awareness to some issues in his lyrics. But then again that's what comes with music, it's entertainment and propaganda mind control which cannot be used to spread truth as much as it is designed to spread evil.
That being said it's pointless to go on about this.
The difference, it seems, with Hopsin and Lupe is that one has acknowledged that HIPHOP is destroying the youth (primarily black community even though white kids listen to rap and cry at night for not being born black).
While the one makes a song saying 'FUCK HIPHOP' the other sings about how 'HIPHOP SAVED MY LIFE' to some myspace rapper, inspiring thousands to pick up the mic : ).
You can go on both ways, yes you can claim Lupe is a better artist, but then again that wasn't my point.
Being real doesn't necessary mean you're a better ARTIST.
Nor does it mean (in this case) that you have more knowledge or experience.
It is clear to me that Lupe is the only with a bit of true knowledge in the mainstream sphere.
