  2. ^I don't we'll ever see that Lu again much to my chagrin. Folks evolve and change though, so I'm not mad. Just miss the old Lu, but hardly any mainstream rappers outside of Nas stay basically the same.

  6. I hope Lupe and Immortal technique were talking about a possible collaboration cause that would be raw.

  7. First comment > 06-08 Lupe???

On Lupe Fiasco first studio album he was presented to the world as a "re-installer of the revolution"

"The well is running dry, the days of Malcolm and Martin have ended
Our hope has descended and off to the side
Waiting for the reinstallment of the revolution
Because we are dying at the cost of our own pollution
But God has another solution, that has evolved from the hood
I present one who turns, the Fiasco to good" - Track 01 Into (Food and Liquor 2006)

In his first mixtape, Lupe fiasco was again presented as being one of "the first step up"

"I've always been amazed that the very people forced to live in the worst parts of town, go to the worst schools, and who have it the hardest are always the first to step up" - Track 01 Into (Fahrenheit 1/15 Part I: The Truth Is Among Us 2005)

It is only now that Lupe Fiasco is beginning to walk the talk.

The "06-08 Lupe" is EITHER a false projection in your mind of what you wanted Lupe to be OR it was merely Lupe not backing up his introductory speech.

  8. There's no such thing as the "old" Lupe Fiasco. As far as I can see, he's still Lupe. He's changing and will continue to change throughout his life. Whether we like it or not. :p
Plus, Thanks HD For The Info on That!

  9. ^^What he said. Stop sweatin' the man guys, the only thing that's really changed is his appearance, that's all. He's still putting out the same message in my opinion.

  11. Lupe is one of the few who puts his money and more important his presence where his mouth is, and he does it as John Q public. With a show tonight he shows up! Trust he won't cheat his fans tonight. Where's the others? The JDepps, the CWest, SPenn, MYorba MDeff et.al why aren't they there?

Much luv to all at OccupyWallStreet
